“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So many of our troubles arise simply because we live in a fallen world, and we are broken people. Sometimes they originate with others, and at other times, they are of our own making. It’s tough enough to suffer at our own hands, but it’s even more painful to suffer at the hands of others. Yet even these things are allowed within the order of God’s providence.

Why should we not bring our hurts, wrongs, and hardships caused by others to God in prayer? Are such things outside the realm of prayer? Are they exceptions to the rules of prayer? Not at all. God can lay His hand upon such events and answer our prayers.

Indeed, all things truly work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.
