“Don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.” - Luke 12:32 NLT
Our Inheritance of Hope
Yesterday, we talked about how our identity is who we are in Christ, and our inheritance is what we have in Christ.
- First, we saw hope.
- Secondly, we have the Holy Spirit.
God enters the believer at salvation and sees us as His children. He seals us for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30) and serves as the guarantee of what’s to come through His ongoing presence. Future salvation is now our imperishable inheritance.
While we wait for that day, the Spirit serves as our eternal helper and counselor, our discerner of truth. Yes, the Holy Spirit is our ever-present comforter, and that brings hope!
