Have you ever noticed that nothing drives away our sense of peace more than overthinking things.
Relentless reasoning about our circumstances is a way of trying to figure out how to control our own life independently. But we humans were not created to live independently. Our Fathers intent is that we learn to live in dependence on him.
The key to managing a barrage of thoughts is to set our minds on Christ. Though we may not be able to control what thoughts appear in our consciousness, but we can decide what we’re going to do with it.
Our minds eye focus must be “simply Jesus”
