Short Sightedness
“All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.” - Acts 4:32 NLT
There are questions we need to ask if we are going to stop living short sighted:
- What do we as the church, need to do to reach the lost and unchurched?
- What do we, as the church, need to stop doing to reach the lost and unchurched?
First and foremost, we must stop focusing on ourselves. Our gathering as the church is not just about us and our agenda. It is about.:
- Worshiping corporately
- Praying, corporately
- Making kingdom relationships
- Equipping the Saints to do the work of the ministry.
- Raising up disciples who become disciple makers who become disciple makers.
- Doing life together.
- Taking the gospel of Jesus to a lost and hurting world.
That's a picture of what the first church in acts looks like. It's a great place for us to start!
